December 8th 2020

Seems like my New Year's Resolution will be to get the blog posts done before the week starts. I hope everyone had a great weekend and everyone is ready for the fast-approaching holidays.

Here's a peek at the week:

Math: We are looking at basic fact strategies, the commutative property, addition and subtraction equations and rounding numbers.

French Language Arts: Students are writing their winter story, and will be typing it up on Thursday afternoon. We have our last dictée of 2020 on Wednesday as well, and doing some reading in Alphabetique.

English Language Arts: The students finished the last chapter of Freckle Juice, are working on their comprehension questions, and will be working on a final writing project about the novel. The final spelling test of 2020 is on Friday.

Social Studies and Science are taking a backseat this week while I try to finish the Kids in the Know program.
