Crossing all my fingers and toes that this weather sticks with us for a while and that Theo continues to make it 8 hours of sleep without getting up at night. I hope everyone had a great weekend, I enjoyed a few walks, an outdoor socially-distanced visit with family, and a little relaxation as well.

This week is a short week as we have interviews/Celebration of Learning on Thursday, and PD day on Friday. A reminder that there is no school this Thursday afternoon or on Friday.

If you would like to book an interview, go to https://ad.lethsd.ab.ca/bookings and sign up there. I will also be having an open meeting from 5-7 (except from 6:15-6:30) where you can pop in and ask any general questions you may have.

Here's a peek at what else we're up to this week:

Math: We are preparing some activities for the celebration of learning and will begin our introduction to fractions.

Francais: We will also be spending some time preparing some activities for the celebration of learning, and continuing with Alphabetique, along with continuing with Reader's theatre.

English: We will be reading various story books and responding to them, along with practicing spelling and getting some activities ready for the celebration of learning.

Social Studies: We will be getting our learning passport updated with some information we learned about India.

Science: We are reviewing the layers of the earth and looking at minerals and their properties.

Have a great week!
