I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather that hopefully sticks around for awhile.

On Friday, I sent home some information regarding Parent/Teacher interviews and the Celebration of Learning. More information will be coming but if you wish to have an interview with me, please go here to book one.

Here's a glance at what we're up to this week.

French: We will be starting reader's theater this week, and continuing with Alphabetique and practicing our dictée. Today we did a practice run for our dictée and I asked the kids to write down the words they need to practice more. In Alphabetique we will be doing a reading activity and making plural adjectives.

Math: We are looking at mass this week. Today we explored kilograms, and tomorrow we look at grams. We will spend Wednesday and Thursday doing a review of measurement and wrapping it up this week.

English: We are doing some last touch ups on our informational booklets, and then exploring some story books, while practicing for our spelling test throughout the week.

Science: Today we talked about the different layers of the earth, and tomorrow we will be talking about the difference between minerals and rocks.

Social studies: Still trying to finish up India with a look at celebrations, traditions, and food.

Have a wonderful week!
