Nov 2nd, 2020

I once again apologize for getting this up a bit late, Halloween had me a bit busy over the weekend.
We are just about to wrap up our winter clothing drive. We’ve collected a fair number of items so far and I am really pleased with how it’s going. Wednesday will be the last day we collect items.
Here’s a peek at the week:
Maths: We are looking at comparing and ordering numbers up to 1000, and then moving on to skip counting by 5, 10 and 25.
French: In Alphabetique we are looking at “les déterminants” and the apostophe. We are doing writing in our journals and practicing our dictée words ahead of Wednesday’s dictée.
English: We are putting the finishing touches on our My Terrific Teacher product and will be making good copies. We will also be practicing our spelling words before Friday’s spelling test.
Science: We are going to be planning out the instruments the students will be making at home. It needs to be made from materials found around the house. It must be able to change the tone and volume of the sounds it makes. My hope is that the instruments will be ready to be brought to school on November 10th to be presented.
Social studies: We are putting the finishing touches on our brochures and having a look at our next unit of India.
