November Already?
I find it hard to believe that we are already in November. I hope everyone had a great halloween. My children are too old to go with their parents apparently, so my wife and I spent a quiet night in with our dogs and left a bowl of candy on the front step.
We had a great week here at school. We made an electromagnet, wrote informational books, labeled a map of Canada and the provincial capitals, estimated 2 and 3 digit multiplication and enjoyed a nice little halloween party.
We have lots to look forward to next week as we look at what are different conductors, insulators, and resistors in Science. We will continue our informative book frenzy in French, and get started on a Remembrance day writing project in English. We will be wrapping up our mapping unit in social studies. We will enjoy a performance by the Alberta Musical Theatre Company on Wednesday, Lunch-on-the-go on Thursday, and a Remembrance day assembly on Friday.
Have a great weekend!
